So, I was asked recently for some good advice concerning a particular issue. Before I even knew all of the details about the issue, I suggested deep, deliberate breathing. I don’t know any issue in which stopping for a few moments to take a few deep, deliberate breaths is not helpful. It’s great during times of physical stress, mental confusion, and emotional duress. Deep, deliberate breathing oxygenates the blood, calms erratic thinking, and clears a bit of “space” for inspiration to enter the consciousness. So, for all of us who are looking for some good advice, know this, the first step will always be to stop and take a deep breath. There are more answers in those moments of silence than any words that anyone can share.
Breathing,
Mark

So true! This is why it is so important that people learn to breathe from their tummy and not their upper chest.
